Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Brant Lane, I have been married to my wife, Michelle, for almost nine years, and we have been blessed with two children, Alex and Aubree. Our passion is serving the Lord.
In January of 2007, I surrendered to God’s call into the ministry. Since that time, He has presented me with a wonderful opportunity. He has led me to work full time with Macedonian Missionary Service as the Builder Project Coordinator, as well as working in evangelism. My family has relocated to Somerset, Kentucky to be near the resources of Macedonian Missionary Service.
Let me take a moment to tell you about my background. In 1999 I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors Degree in Building Contracting and Construction. I also received a Minor in Construction Finance. When I graduated, I went to work for a volume builder in Atlanta, Georgia, where I stayed for about two years.
Next, I had the opportunity to become an equity partner with C. R. I. Homes of Atlanta. I took the opportunity, and from November of 2000 until August of 2007, I was the Vice President of Construction for the company. I honestly thought that this was where I would be for the rest of my career, but in January, 2007, God had a different plan for me. He called me into the ministry, and by August, He had sold my business and enrolled me in a seminary. I will be graduating from Liberty Theological Seminary with a Masters Degree in Theology in December.
Hillcrest Baptist Church in Acworth, Georgia, has decided to be my sponsoring church, and I am humbled and thankful that this wonderful church where Michelle and I have attended for almost nine years wants to be my sponsoring church. We have been privileged to serve with a great pastor, Bro. Paul Vance. Hillcrest believes in the work Macedonian has done and will be doing in the coming years.
