Leon Jasper Leon Jasper

Brother Leon Jasper has a B. A. Degree from Florida Baptist College (now Emmaus Baptist College) and a Doctorate of Divinity from Louisiana Baptist University. He and his wife, Carole, live in Somerset, Kentucky. He attends and is sponsored by Whetstone Baptist Church in Somerset, Kentucky, where Bro. Eugene Tarter is the pastor. Brother Jasper has been involved in mission work and training for more than thirty years.


Through his vision and initiative, along with that of Brother Harold Williams and some local churches, Macedonian Missionary Service was founded. He works primarily out of the Kentucky office, but also accompanies the Medical Teams on almost every mission trip they make. He speaks at many churches, Faith Promise Mission Conferences, Banquets, and does the other things that are so necessary to mission work. He is also involved in the travel and logistics of the Macedonian Medical Teams and their projects.

Harold Williams was a pastor for six years before accepting the position of Dean of Florida Baptist Institute and Seminary and, concurrently, was Instructor of Missions for fifteen years.


He has assisted churches across the USA and overseas in over 300 Mission Conferences, teaching the basic Biblical principles of Faith Promise.


He continues to oversee the Florida office of Macedonian located in Polk City, Florida. He also administers the Macedonian Call radio broadcast which is aired over Trans World Radio in many parts of the world.


He is a Missionary at Large, ministering around the world, as opportunity is presented. His world-wide ministry includes consultation with missionaries, conducting training seminars, Bible conferences, Missions conferences, and generally sharing encouragement and insight with missionaries and pastors around the world.


His sending church is Faith Missionary Baptist Church of Concord, California, pastor Larry Woolley.


Brother Williams is available for presentation of the overall ministry of Macedonian Missionary Service, and in particular, the Macedonian Call radio broadcast, and to conduct Faith Promise missions conferences.

Kim Jasper-Owens is responsible for the coordination of overseas medical campaigns for the MacMed Team and building projects for the Builders’ Team. She is also involved in the overall office operations of the Kentucky Office.


She is a MMS kid, the daughter of Leon and the late Joyce Ann Jasper. She was born and raised in Kentucky. In 1971, her family left their homeland to move to Lakeland, Florida, in order for her father to attend Florida Baptist College; FBC has since been renamed Emmaus Baptist College and moved to Brandon, Florida.


Kim attended Florida Baptist College in Lakeland, Florida, and Instituto De Lengua Espanola, a language school in San Jose, Costa Rica, graduating with an Associate of Arts Degree. Soon after college, she moved back to Kentucky.


She has traveled world-wide on Macedonian trips, working mostly with the MacMed Teams, although from time to time, she does go on building projects with the Building Team.


Kim has a daughter, Randi-Kim, who is a regular volunteer at MMS. They are both members of Pine Hill Baptist Church in Somerset, Kentucky, where Bro. Don Branscum is pastor. Their favorite activities are camping, hiking, water-rafting, caving, and traveling on short term mission trips.


Favorite Bible Passages – “But seek ye first the kingdom of God…” Matt. 6:33; “For God so loved the world that He gave…” John 3:16; and “Let your light so shine…” Matt. 5:16


Favorite Quotes – “Give ‘til it hurts.”  This is a quote from her mom, Joyce Ann Jasper, November 1939 – December 2005, and “If you say you can…you can, but if you say you can’t…you’re right.” She learned this quote from her dad.

Judy Branscum Judy Branscum

Judy Branscum has been the Receptionist at the Macedonian Missionary Service Office in Somerset, Kentucky since August, 2008. When you call the Kentucky Office, she is usually the one who greets you. In addition to other clerical duties, she helps coordinate the Kentucky Banquet.


She is married to Don Branscum, who is pastor of Pine Hill Baptist Church in Somerset, Kentucky. They have three children, a son and two daughters. They are: Donnie, whose wife is Shelly; Jennifer, whose husband is Richard Thompson; and Jill, whose husband is Mike Johnson. The Branscums have also been blessed with six grandchildren.


Judy is a very active member of her church, where she enjoys teaching the Ladies’ BTU Class and working with the AWANA Program. She also enjoys their family farm, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and occasionally traveling with Bro. Branscum on mission trips.

Marcia works as the Administrative Assistant for Macedonian Missionary Services.  She has many office responsibilities which include, answering the phones, mailing out any books and Bibles that have been requested, and keeping the mail list updated.  She also mails out Basic Bible Course and New Testament Basic Booklets, score test booklets and issues certificates for same.  Marcia types missionary updates for the Macedonian Call, and mails out Birthday and Anniversary cards to missionaries and their families.  Additionally, Marcia is in charge of purchasing all promotional items for meetings, and every year, Marcia helps coordinate the Florida Macedonian Banquet.
